Students will lace up their running shoes until the last week of school, when the top three classes are rewarded. Generally, participants run three times per week and twice a day during recess. This is the first year for the district-wide Mileage Club to take place at Whitehills Elementary.

Other guests included Superintendent David Chapin, City Manager Ted Staton, ELHS track and field coaches and members of the track and field team. The air buzzed as Bell told the group about the importance of fitness and maintaining high academics.
